Our client is a FTSE 100 world-leading international facility management and outsourced services company. They wanted to find an enthusiastic, strategic leadership development partner who could adapt to new and fast changing business needs, and could offer them strategic advice on leadership and organizational development, with new but tried and tested methods and ideas from clients in other industries. They specifically wanted help to transition the deployment of their traditional, subject-based portfolio of classroom training solutions to a more flexible and varied blend of on-demand learning solutions.
What was delivered:
- Assessment of management practices and competencies, and validation of current and future training provision against what the business strategy required
- Consolidation of the training portfolio targeting areas that both the business and individuals felt needed more attention
- Design, piloting and deployment of a comprehensive new leadership development framework – ‘Managing Effectively’
- Review of induction practices for new recruits, as this was a key area given the nature of the business.
What has been achieved:
- The ‘Managing Effectively’ framework remains the backbone of leadership development in the organization, constantly adapted to the changing needs of the business
- The program now also covers core organizational values, allowing managers to integrate these and their personally preferred management style
